Browser & OS Support Policy

built & tested to work in the following browsers and operating systems.

FNB is committed to making the FNBOnline Banking portal/ App accessible and consistent across supported browsers.  To support the security measures we put in place to keep your data safe, we require the use of a modern browser.
Additionally, to safeguard customer data, only browsers which receive security updates from the browser manufacturer are considered for support.  As new versions of browsers are released, your FNBOnline Banking portal access will deprecate support for older versions.
Currently supported: Effective on March 19, 2024, our Digital Banking Platform is supported FNBOnline Mobile Banking version 3.7 or newer on devices running iOS version 16.0 or newer.
Upcoming changes: Effective with the release of FNBOnline Mobile Banking version 3.12 (targeting May 2024), the latest version of our iOS app will be supported on devices running iOS version 16.4 or newer.
 
Apple Store badge
Effective on March 19, 2024, our Digital Banking Platform is supported on FNBOnline Mobile Banking version 3.7 or newer on devices running Android version 8.0 or newer.
 
Google Play badge
Microsoft Edge will be supported at the latest version only. The FNBOnline Banking may deny access to older Microsoft Edge versions 60 days after a new version is released.
The legacy version of Microsoft Edge now has an official end-of-life date from Microsoft.
Chrome should automatically update and major updates are released approximately every 12 weeks. If Chrome is two versions older than the current stable channel version, the FNBOnline Banking  may deny it access.
Safari currently only sees major upgrades during the Fall. Approximately 60 days after a new version is released, the FNBOnline Banking  may deny older versions access. However this change requires that the new Safari version is available on both macOS and iOS devic
Firefox should automatically update. If Firefox is two versions older than the current stable channel version, the FNBOnline Banking  may deny it access.
