arrow What is MasterCard SecureCode? MasterCard Secure Code is a service by MasterCard and First National Bank that provides you added security against unauthorized use of your enrolled card when you shop online.
arrow How does MasterCard SecureCode work? Once you have registered and created your SecureCode, each time you make an online purchase with a participating merchant a box will pop up at the time of checkout and ask for your SecureCode, similar to the way you are asked for your PIN at an ATM. After you have correctly entered your SecureCode and is confirmed by First National Bank, your purchase is completed. Your SecureCode will never be revealed to any merchant during the checkout process or at any other time.
